Close proximity to Auvers sur Oise but within a serene park like setting!

Location nearby the lake in a small quiet town was great. After we arrived, in the evening we had a walk by the river towards the cemetery of Vincent/Theo tomb. Unaware about the way, we just headed by the lake and through the little door to the small path. There was a little boy running from the house, shouting "Bon jour, bon jour!!!" And we had a little chat with him. :-) We had a wonderful dinner at 'Le Relais des Peintres'. Little pricy but worth the money. Nearby Pontoise was a starting location for our train/metro trip into Paris. A covered garage on the railway station was easy to reach and 40 minutes ride to Paris Nord was pleasant enough.

although we were looking for an address for a long time, it turned out to be a very pleasant and comfortable place with an excellent bed, very clean and conveniently located between, and most importantly, a very sympathetic host. we were very satisfied after spending 3 nights and would recommend to everyone with great warmth.

Friendly welcome from lovely hosts. Secure gated parking. The house was very clean and the family room was a good size and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed walking through the forest at the back of the property and then sitting outside at the front of the house enjoying a drink kindly offered to us by the hosts. We were given a lift into the local town by the hosts and enjoyed a nice meal from a choice of restaurants. Breakfast was very nice - homemade jam for bread and croissants, yoghurt, eggs, cereal for kids. Thank you very much - we’d like to return one day.

the view from the terrace is beautiful as the mansion is situated on the hill. there is national park nearby. 10mins of a nice walk to the closest train station - L’Isle Adam Parmain which is heading to Paris (40-50mins), 15 mins to centre of the city. bathroom was very nice - renovated and clean. great place if you like pets (cats were very friendly) or you need just a bed to sleep in. room equipped with basic stuff which was working well, beds simple but comfortable
