About the hotel

The Crown Hotel is an attractive feature of the lively, small village of Lyndhurst, the capital of The New Forest. Elegant, traditional and mellow. From here you can easily explore 93,000 acres of national park.

Complete with log fires in winter, beautiful water-featured gardens in summer and sumptuous cosy lounges and imaginative, award-winning cuisine. The historic Crown Hotel dates back to the early part of the seventeenth century and personifies everything quintessential to an old English hotel. Please note during December we have private festive party nights with music up until midnight.

Please note that we are a popular wedding and party venue. To ensure that you have a quiet weekend, please contact the hotel for details of any functions that may be organised at any given time.
